Installed 2.0 and a few errors I am getting

New postby xauror » 31 Oct 2006, 04:09

When I go to the marriage.php page I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in marriage.php on line 18

Line 18 is

$user->session_begin();

and in the admin panel I get:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in cache/mods_base/core_nero.xauror.com_admin_index.php on line 807

I did not overwrite all the admin files since my board is extremely modded

I am using phpbb 2.0.21 and Mod Base 1.0.0b

I uninstalled and reloaded a 1.0.0 version for now any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: The errors I am getting on the marriage.php file all seem to be related to the fact that my site is not based on phpbb3.

I dont currently have a board operating with 3 is there any chance of getting a marriage.php file for 2.0 boards? I have not tried to rewrite it yet to match 2 but if I do before you respond here I will let you know.

Much thanks I will go try it now

Edit: Ok the page is showing now however I am not seeing anything in viewtopic. I tried direct linking to

marriage.php?mode=proposal&way=1&target=19

and got an information message with nothing showing

Also I am seeing double header and footer on the marriage.php page

Also it is still looking for overall_header.html - so I copied my overall_header.tpl to overall_header.html

I'm almost done with solving those problems. Only need to fix the message that isn't showing up :).

Ok I have a question - in the Mod Base there are all the base phpbb admin files - my site is extremely modded. If I rewrite all of those files I will lose more modifications than I can count. Is it necessary to overwrite all those files to get this system to work?
